Hot from her remix of Danny Tenaglia and Sasha Carassi’s ‘Automatik’, Magdalena returns to Renaissance with the sizzling ‘Globus EP’.

A diverse, three-track odyssey, the project expertly stalks the deeper fringes of melodic techno, indie dance and electronica. Whether infectious title-track ‘Globus’, which very much sounds like a continuation of her Tenaglia / Carassi remix; the constant rise of ‘Aliferous’ , programming it’s way from a dark to light as its brooding opening expands into melodic sun; or ‘Anam Cara’, which switches gears into breakbeat drums, with a warm, chunky refrain, all confirm this is DJ and producer at the height of her powers.

Germany’s Magdalena has firmly established herself as an artist, promoter and DJ, having first been introduced to electronic at the age of 15. She has been constantly surrounded by the musical influences of Hamburg, immersed in Germany’s flourishing Deep Melodic- and Indie – Techno/House scene.
