Guy Gerber’s Rumors label welcomes Nick Morgan for a pair of sublime new sounds.

Nick Morgan is a Canadian born electronic music producer and DJ known for pushing the boundaries of the electronic genre. When he’s not touring, Nick has kept a presence in Mykonos for the past 5 years with his Sunday night residency at the world renowned “Moni”. As a producer, Nick has created a plethora of remix’s and edits that have received critical acclaim from some of the biggest names in the underground scene. His latest release “Shook Pt. 3” quickly became a crowd favorite in the summer 2023 season, earning him the attention and admiration of music lovers and industry professionals alike. With a string of releases on the horizon, Nick is beginning to cement his unique sound in the electronic dance world.

Bass Bousa is a mid tempo deep house excursion lit up with fantastically expressive synths and melodies that ring out with real soul. They bring worldly charm to the persuasive grooves and really cast a spell. Says Nick of the track, “I have always been fascinated with the rhythms and melodies of Arabic music. I wanted to blend the rich musical heritage of the Middle East with my electronic sound.”

Want You started as a voice note sketch and is a more stripped back and minimal rhythm to start with. Ghostly vocal sounds and slick percussive patterns pepper the groove which never lets up and eventually gets coloured with some superb Middle Eastern melodic colour.
