Renowned Parisian DJ/producer Captain Mustache and South Korean visionary Shubostar link up on DGTL Records with their collaborative single ‘Echoes of Dolphins.’ Set for release on August 8th, the collaboration lands alongside Shubostar’s solo track ‘Enter The Void,’out on August 22nd, with the captivating two-tracker encapsulating a vivid sonic voyage that fuses astral textures and spacey synths.
The title track,‘Echoes of Dolphins’, is a pristine slice of cosmic disco where emotionally charged melodies intertwine with soulful rhythms and hypnotic vocals. A collaborative effort between Captain Mustache and Shubostar, the track blends their distinct styles seamlessly. Reflecting on the process, Captain Mustache shares: “These Korean lyrics fit perfectly with the deep atmosphere of the track” and propel the cut “into another dimension.”
Next comes ‘Enter The Void,’ a solo production by Shubostar that funnels liquid cadences into a swirling vortex of moody ’80s Italo synths made for dim lights, city nights, and everything in between. It reflects her personal journey: “I finished this track during last year’s hectic summer tour, making this track felt like diving into the void throughout the busy reality.”

Hailing from South Korea, the now Berlin-based artist blends vintage synth nostalgia with modern electronic intensity, often described as dark disco. With an impressive discography on imprints such as Live At Robert Johnson, Fabric Records, Ano Ano, and more, her sound continues to light up dancefloors worldwide, and this return to the label brings more late-night gold to the fore.
