After emerging on the German electronic music scene in early the first half of the 2010 and skyrocketing to fame with just a few single releases followed by numerous remixes it’s about time for Jacob Dilßner a.k.a. Wankelmut for a next step – the launch of his very own label WKLMT as a new outlet for his stylistically varied productions.

Opening the very first single on the freshly founded imprint with ‘Ayahuasca (Radio Edit)’ Wankelmut immediately proves why his sound has been resonating with a wide variety of people over the years. Pounding beats meet a certain melodic mysticism, unrecognizably filtered, yet catchy vocal bits are grabbing ones attention immendiately and a big time breakdown brings all hands up into the air within seconds.

Furthermore the extended version is on a slightly more club oriented tip, providing a longer build up, well thought out and heavily grooving basslines as well as an overall trancier, partly even Prog oriented feel, balancing the line between large scale big room venues and heaving festival crowds longing for tender melodies as well as heavy stab action and overwhelming low end pressure taking everyone and their mother on an emotional trip to a warmer and happier place.

You can listen to the full premiere of the extended version exclusively on When We Dip. Enjoy!
