When We Dip | Premiere: KYTES & Digitalism blend house music and pop on bouncy 'Hula-Hoop'

Munich-based indie-pop quartet KYTES team up with Hamburg electro veterans Digitalism on ‘Hula Hoop’. Following on from recent hits ‘Happy Hangover’, ‘Rollercoaster’ and ‘Apricosa’, ‘Hula Hoop’ will be out on 8th July through their very own label Frisbee Records. The track is part of the ‘Apricosa’ EP – blending indie disco vibes with dance, electro and club elements.

The band say: “It was a great pleasure and an honour to write this song with Digitalism. Jens & Ismail are an inspiration and motivation for us for a long time now, so this feels a little surreal. Hula-Hoop is the centre of the Apricosa EP – electronic and dancey but still Indie. We’re super proud of the song and very happy it’s gonna be out soon.“

KYTES sold out European tour, more than 60 million streams, more than  30 million plays on Tiktok and a #1 chart position on Hype Machine is testament to the undeniable talent of Michael Spieler, Timothy Lush, Kerim Öke and  Thomas Sedlacek. The band continues to captivate with a clutch of new releases and a series of shows across Germany, Austria & Switzerland  starting this summer in August 2022.

Drawing on a myriad of influences ranging from 80s inspired pop, indie and disco, the band are renowned for their peppy-paced songwriting, infectious melodies and stand out live performances.
